jang min ho with Mr.Trott

Introducing Jang Min-ho, a South Korean trot singer from Incheon who has reached his second heyday as he finished sixth in the final round on Mister Trot.

BTS 'Jang Min-ho' in the trot world

His real name is Jang Ho-geun, and he was born on September 11, 1977 in Incheon Metropolitan City. His body is 180cm, 70kg, and his blood type is A. After graduating from Incheon Daegeon High School, he graduated from Jungbu University with a master's degree in theater and film, and Dankook University Graduate School of Popular Culture and Arts. His debut began in 1997 at Ubis, and his current agency is "Wings Entertainment."

A man of poor luck for his ability

He also made his debut before Jang Yoon-jung, Shin Ji, Kim Joon-soo, Cho Young-soo and Park Hyun-bin, who starred as masters in Mr. Trot, purely considering their debut years. According to composer Cho Young-soo, he is the one who survived the sad path that failed first-generation idols go through.

Indeed, his success story cannot be heard without tears, as he made his debut in 1997 with the idol boy band U-BES' album "You Will Be with Us" but failed, went so far as to be constantly beaten by his boss, and later debuted in 2004 with the ballad group "Wind" but also failed. In 2011, he turned into a trot singer and released a song called "I Love You, Sister," but failed again. Since then, he has appeared in the final audition of his life in KBS' audition program and won the championship, but the program itself has been ruined by the ratings explosion.

Then, in 2014, "Man Says" became a hit in the Seongga market, ending 17 years of obscurity and becoming a popular singer. Due to the nature of the trot genre, he is not familiar to those in their 20s and 30s because he does not appear often on mainstream broadcasts, but he was BTS in the trot world to the point that a fan club was already formed even before he appeared on Mr. Trot.

Tomorrow, Mr. Trot will appear.

Tomorrow, Mr. Trot will be joined in group A of the active duty. As the eldest brother of the program throughout the show, he took good care of his younger siblings, sometimes strictly and sometimes friendly. In particular, the chemistry between Jeong Dong-won, who was the youngest member of the program, and Jeong Dong-won, who was left behind, is the highlight of the program.

In the 100-man qualifier, the stage was highly praised by master Cho Young-soo. He was well received by the masters and passed the preliminary round with the title of All Heart.

In the team mission by genre, the first round of the finals, the active-duty group A performed a musical as if they were watching a team of talented people, even though they did not carry out the mission with the dance trot genre, which was shunned by group A. Jang Min-ho's solo dance, which had been injured, was accompanied by all the hearts and advanced to the second round of the finals. He was chosen as Jin.

In the 1:1 death match in the second round of the finals, the title of the preliminary "Jin" seemed to collapse after losing the 1:1 death match against Kim Ho-jung, but advanced to the third round of the finals with a dramatic revival in the consolation match.

In the first round of the semi-finals, he showed a lack of confidence and was under pressure and thought about giving up. He finished third in the first round with rave reviews from the masters that he sharpened his sword with a stage that showed Jang Min-ho's hidden potential, and was placed in the stable position to advance to the final.

In the second round of the semifinals, the third and fourth places in the first round of the semifinals will face off by Chung Dong-won, who wanted to collaborate with his favorite adult challenger. Even though it was a one-on-one match, he showed off his singing skills and cuteness by playing the role of supporting Jung Dong-won on the stage. Master Cho Young-soo's comment is that Jang Min-ho's sacrifice was revealed to save Jeong Dong-won's range and make up for his age gap of 30. He was on the verge of elimination after scoring 90 out of 300 master points, but advanced to the final round in seventh place.

Its final ranking ended in sixth place.
