A native of Ulsan Metropolitan City, she grew up with her grandmother instead of her parents who divorced when she was in elementary school. Kim Ho-joong graduated from Myeongjeong Elementary School and Ulsan Middle School. At that time, he was not a troublemaker, but a student who didn't do his school life faithfully. After watching his stocking videos on YouTube, RUTC Academy officials offered him to study in Germany. After studying in Germany, he worked as a vocalist and performed at the annual Ulsan Citizens' Great Harmony Concert in Ulsan.
